Henrix, Henergy and this website

The 00laboratories server Henrix has died, and while not that important it sure gave us a big setback. In the world of today or at least at the time of this blog entry it's very important to have an internet presentation of yourself or the company respectively. I have been attempting to establish a solid team of programmers that love to code in their free-time and work on exciting projects from low level emulators to programming Video Games and Engines. It's quite a shame that we lost all of our online content in just a single day, two of my computers were fatally infected all because of a stupid error. The best part is that dropbox allowed the virus to spread to other computers almost instantaneously so thumbs up at dropbox it truly is very fast and reliable. Regardless this actually allowed to cleanup previous mistakes and hide products we were no longer proud of.

With the server gone we were able to upgrade all of our hardware and have a much faster machine running Windows Server 2003 now named Henergy. Which allows us to expand further into networking software and development. After installing my favorite web-server package XAMPP I went ahead and installed a simple SMTP Relay Server that basically allows the server to send e-mails. Some e-mail providers like Hotmail do not allow me to connect and send mail but others such as gmail do.

Thanks to my friends I got excited about restoring the website and restart 00laboratories but this time I am planning to go further then ever and build fresh clean content, I am not certain about going OpenSource with our projects, but there is a chance of that happening. I always thought that we might sell our products and there was so much work that went into it, I don't just want to share our secrets with the public so they can sell a remake based on it.

You can definitely expect to see some great new products and as always you can leave us a comment on what you would really love to see build and if it's interesting enough I am sure we will consider it! Right now we are only a small group of programmers and artists and barely have any time to do fancy big projects but there is a high level of trust and friendship in the team which is great! I am glad that the website is now online and that I have great friends out there!
